Phoenix Eco Friendly Tractors
The beauty of dealing with diesel engines when it comes to the “Green” movement, is most of the manufacturers don’t really need to replace the current line of tractors with new ones. Most companies have had to restructure and revamp their entire facilities, costing them millions or even billions in renovations to produce the new “green” product lines. With diesel engine powered machines, companies only need to come up with a fuel that uses that same engine while producing fewer pollutants. So their cost is considerably lower and might consist of nothing at all. The invention of biodiesel basically saves them the trouble from having to invent a new tractor and release a brand new line. They don’t have to change much of anything to make sure their product line becomes more eco friendly.
For the most part, farmers only care about saving money when it comes to fuel. Back before the prevalent use of diesel powered engines, they’d only use gasoline to start the engine before using a cheaper fuel to power the tractor. They wouldn’t waste the expensive gasoline when they could run their tractor on ethanol or kerosene after starting it with the more expensive gasoline. So when it comes to eco friendly tractors, it all depends on the cost of biodiesel. If they can produce biodiesel and sell it for less than regular diesel, farmers will use it all day long. If it costs the same and is more difficult to acquire, they will most likely stick with the regular diesel. So long as they can see valid economical reasons for using biodiesel, they will switch over and use the more eco friendly fuel.
For the most part, there really isn’t anything else required from tractors in producing a more eco friendly model. However, they might come up with a few additional things to help with the environment. For the most part, the pollutants produced by previous models created a cause for concern so the powers that be decided to empower some inventors to mass produce their current line of biodiesel made from cooking oils. These fuels were much less harmful to the environment and created from all natural means.
Since everybody has decided to push the “Green” movement all around the world to help save the environment, companies have looked into ways to revamp their product line to include a variety of different features that help support this cause. They want to release the line and claim it to be extremely eco friendly so all those who look into buying new machinery or products can feel good about their purchases. They can feel like they’re making their own personal contribution to the environmental issues without really doing anything on their part besides purchasing the more eco friendly products. Farmers might not feel as inclined as they constantly breathe the fresh air of their farmlands everyday and they feel more concerned with the cost of living than anything else. So by providing them with cheaper fuel that also happens to be eco friendly, they can also make their contribution to the environment.
